Board Members' Biographies

Yang Huazhen

Yang Huazhen / Board Chair

Of Tibetan ethnicity, born in 1960 in a renowned embroidery family from Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. National-level intangible cultural heritage representative holder of Tibetan textile embroidery techniques, member of the UNESCO Craft Organization, and Sichuan Province Master of Arts and Crafts.

Having received attention from Party and state leaders on multiple occasions, her works have been presented as national gifts to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore, President Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania, Prime Minister Oli of Nepal, and other heads of state and government. She has received honors including the "Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Craftsperson Award" and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government "Golden Panda Award."

Feng Qinglong

Feng Qinglong / Vice Chair

Veteran media professional and cultural manager. Bachelor's degree from Southwest Minzu University, Senior Journalist. Former Deputy Director of Aba Prefecture Committee Publicity Department, Editor-in-Chief of Aba Daily, and Director of Aba Prefecture Culture Bureau.

Currently Vice President of Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Association and member of the Expert Committee of Sichuan Intangible Heritage Protection Association. He brings extensive experience and scholarly depth in cultural communication, administrative management, and intangible cultural heritage protection.

Feng Yang

Feng Yang / Board Member

CCP Member, Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology, Chengdu representative holder of intangible cultural heritage for Qiang embroidery. He studied Tibetan and Qiang textile embroidery techniques under his mother Yang Huazhen from an early age.

He is dedicated to combining ancient Qiang embroidery techniques with contemporary design, promoting innovation and living heritage of traditional crafts in the new era through distinctive artistic style and localized expression.

Zhang Wei

Zhang Wei / Board Member

Born in 1960 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Currently serves as CEO of Chengdu Moerduo Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. As a seasoned cultural industry professional, she has long been dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of Tibetan and Qiang intangible cultural heritage, providing significant support for the museum's international exchanges.

Yuan Yan

Yuan Yan / Board Member

Born in 1975 in Neijiang, Sichuan Province. Currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Chengdu Huazhen Tibetan & Qiang Cultural Museum. She has long devoted herself to front-line museum operations, dedicated to the daily management and heritage transmission of Tibetan and Qiang intangible cultural heritage.
